High-Performance HTLS Conductor Fittings for Next-Generation Power Corridors
IAC HTLS Conductor Fittings
Our HTLS conductor fittings are engineered to handle the elevated operating temperatures, higher tensile loads and reduced sag requirements of modern high-temperature low-sag conductors. The range includes compression and bolted joints, dead-end fittings, suspension clamps, jumper fittings, armour rods and hardware designed for ACCC, ACSS, GZTACSR, INVAR and other HTLS conductor types.
Each fitting is designed to maintain stable electrical contact resistance and mechanical strength at continuous operating temperatures that can exceed 150°C, with emergency ratings significantly higher. Materials and interfaces are selected to manage differential thermal expansion between the core and the outer aluminium strands, preventing slippage, creep and premature fatigue. Components undergo temperature-rise tests, tensile and slip-load verification, corona checks and accelerated ageing evaluations to meet HTLS-specific requirements.
Utilities and EPC contractors use these fittings for reconductoring, uprating existing corridors and building compact high-capacity transmission lines where increased ampacity and improved ground clearance are critical. The fittings ensure safe long-term performance and compatibility with the unique mechanical and thermal behaviour of HTLS conductors.
