The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials required for uninterrupted manufacturing and project execution. The role ensures that suppliers meet IAC’s standards of quality, reliability, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency. This position involves strong vendor development, continuous cost optimization, and strategic planning aligned with production needs. The Purchase Manager acts as a key link between suppliers and internal teams to ensure zero delays and maximum operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and services
- Develop and evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term supply arrangements
- Coordinate purchase planning with Production and Stores
- Track PO progress and maintain accurate ERP documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement policies
Requirements
- Graduate/Engineer with 5–10 years procurement experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of industrial/electrical hardware materials is preferred
- Experience with ERP-based purchase systems
