The Stores Manager oversees all store operations to ensure materials move with accuracy, speed, and full traceability. This role is responsible for maintaining real-time inventory, preventing shortages, and ensuring every component reaches production on schedule. The position requires strong coordination with Purchase, Production, and Quality teams to maintain seamless material flow across the plant. The Stores Manager also ensures compliance, documentation accuracy, and world-class housekeeping and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials
- Maintain stock accuracy through daily updates and periodic audits
- Implement FIFO/FEFO and proper material-handling practices
- Coordinate with departments for timely material availability
- Ensure proper documentation, GRN preparation, and ERP updates
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance in the stores area
Requirements
- Graduate/Diploma with 5–10 years of store operations experience
- Knowledge of engineering/industrial materials
- Proficiency in ERP or inventory management software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
